An article which has been recently published online in Urban Studies was written in international Czech-Estonian team (Anneli Kährik, Jana Temelová, Kati Kadarik, Jan Kubeš). The article discusses what attracts people to inner city areas. Case studies were realised in České Budějovice (Czech Republic) and in Tartu (Estonia).

At the beginning of January we have published first ten specialized maps that were created under project NAKI. Maps are focused on socio-spatial diferentiation in historical perspective, first part of maps deals with Czechia, second part with Prague

Martin Šimon is one of the editors of the new book about demographic development in Central Europe. The book was published in 2014 in the Institute of Sociology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. It is available online.
