The aim of the project is firstly to define local centres of work and service commuting in the hinterland of Prague using data from mobile phones, secondly to map the changes in spatiotemporal mobility due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and to identify specific rhythmizers that influenced mobility. The project builds on the researcher’s master thesis, which proposed a theoretical concept of a spatiotemporal region and a methodological concept of spatiotemporal regionalization. The project foresees outputs in the form of an academic article, a specialized map and conference papers.
